At The Original Double Glazed Sash Window Replacement Company Ltd., it is our goal to manufacture the best timber windows that can be made. Founded in 1993 by present company chairman Ken Franklin, the company is dedicated to making windows that are custom designed to preserve architectural integrity and replicate the exact styling of the Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian eras, while having the benefits of modern technology. Our sealed double glazed units with draught exclusion provide warmer as well as quieter living environments. We produce sash and casement windows in a variety of styles, as well as interior and exterior doors.

Our company provides a complete service. Windows are supplied and fitted, fully decorated and equipped with new locks and hardware. We supply and fit interior woodwork such as bullnosing and architrave as well.

As an alternative to complete window replacement, we offer an overhauling and draught-proofing service. We will take your window apart, change the sash cords, fit rubber strips and inject compression foam into the woodwork, then put the window back together again to make it as snug and rattle-free as possible. We are happy to visit homes within the Greater London area in order to assess your requirements and provide you with free quotations. In addition, we provide a supply only service for windows anywhere in the UK and Europe.

All of our joinery is guaranteed for 10 years against defective workmanship. Our sealed double glazed units are guaranteed for 10 years against clouding.

We are a FENSA-registered company. All of our work is fully compliant with current building regulations and EU legislation regarding energy efficiency (Document L)
